Installation of State of the Art Test Facility at PM Control
FPES and PM Control have been this week furthering and deepening our progressive and exciting partnership. Two of our Electrical/Mechatronics Team have been at the PMC facility in Kingsgrove assisting in the installation and commissioning of a Woodward Micronet+ control system with LinkNet HT modules.
This world class addition to the Australian market will allow us to automate DLE skid functionality testing after completion of overhaul. The DLE skids are received, inspected, stripped, inspected and assembled at our Wetherill Park facility before transferring to PM Control Kingsgrove for FAT testing.
This is great news as clients and end users can have confidence that any work we undertake on their critical components will be rigorously tested with state of the art technology.
We at both FPES and PM Control are intent on developing and retaining expertise in Australia to support our markets. We can achieve this through staff development, smart investment and the support of our suppliers and clients alike.
Development of Woodward DLE Skid Overhaul & Test Facility
FPES have been working diligently with our partners at PM Control over the last 12 months to bring customer centric gas turbine solutions to the market.
We are proud to be creating jobs in Australia and also to be delivering never-seen-before capability which will bring benefit to the many gas turbine owner/operators in the country and wider regions.
This capability continues to develop and we have big plans for 2020 and beyond.

Official Parker P1 Piston Pump Build Centre
Partnering with leading edge manufacturers is crucial to delivering best in class integrated solutions. FPES are excited to become an authorised Parker Hannifin ‘hydraulic systems integrator’, setting up a rapid response build centre to manufacture Parker P1/PD Piston pumps to customer specification.
This is great news for industry, for those relying on proven performance for medium-pressure open circuit piston pumps for mobile and industrial applications, can now avoid long lead times for replacement pumps.
FPES are a hydraulics specialist, having developed a longstanding partnership with Parker, they are an obvious dependable partner to become a build centre for this key Parker product line. FPES have geared up their P1 build centre to adhere to strict Parker requirements regarding facility, engineering, manufacturing, employee training and inventory standards.

Welcome Zac, our most recent addition to the Team, Zac, has taken on a Fitter/Machinist Apprenticeship and is enjoying learning under very experienced technicians in a dynamic workshop environment. Zac joined FPES after a trial period where he experienced the positive culture of the FPES team and knew it was going to be a great place to learn and offer many avenues for future career progression.
